Kunal Kapoor, Huma Qureshi visits LPU Jalandhar

Bollywood Stars of upcoming Hindi movie ‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’ entertained LPU Students, today. Publicized to be Bollywood's first ‘food film’, the visiting stars of it - Kunal Kapoor and Huma Qureshi shared many of the  famous dialogues and scintillating  songs of this luscious comedy film. The stars danced, acted, sang and let thousands of LPU students enjoy each and every antic of theirs.  Even the foreign students from 30 countries were seen swaying, in their own style, on film’s experimental and amusing Punjabi music, based on modern sounds, elements of rap mingled with tunes of flute, dhol, rabab etc.  The film is going to hit theatres on 2nd November 2012.
For this organization, LPU Pro Chancellor Ms Rashmi Mittal held: "Off and on, we want to have such activities for our students, who otherwise regularly undergo their international level hard study- programmes. Jaspal Bhatti dies in road accident near Jalandhar

Popular comedian and film director Jaspal Bhatti, who touched a chord with the masses with his humorous take on problems plaguing the common man, died when his car rammed into a roadside tree near Shahkot in Nakodar area of the Jalandhar district at 2:30 am as per Report. Bhatti's son Jasraj, who was driving the car and film's heroine Suril Gautam were injured and rushed to a hospital at Jalandhar. Bhatti leaves behind his wife Savita, a son and a daughter Raabiya. Sharma said that Bhatti was going to Jalandhar from Bhatinda for the promotion of his Punjabi film which is based on the frequent power cuts in Punjab. Bhatti's son Jasraj and Gautam have been referred to a Ludhiana hospital now. According to doctors, they are in a stable but critical condition.
