National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar, Punjab as per Recruitment Advt.No.08/2013 to conduct walk-in interview for the post of Teaching/ Non-Teaching on 26th August 2013.
1. Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics = 3 Post
Qualification: The candidate should be Bachelor’s degree in Science, Msc with 1st division at Master’s or Bachelor’s level in Mathematics (PhD will be preferred) if the PhD candidate is not available then MSc candidate will be considered.
2. Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering = 2 Post
Qualification: M.Tech with First division at Master’s or Bachelor level in the appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology. The candidates with Ph D degree will be preferred.
3. Physical Training officer (P.T.O) = 1 Post
Qualification: Ph.D/M.P.Ed /D.P.Ed/ B.P.Ed/ Preferably NIS
4. Coach for Athletics, Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis & Ball Badminton & Gym. Trainer (Preference to Multi Games Coaching) Qualification: M.P.Ed, D.P.Ed, B.P.Ed, NIS, Certificate Course, C.P.Ed. B.A and +2. National, Inter-University & Inter-College player Will be preferred. -- Rs 8000
5. NSS/NCC Field Officer = 1 Post
Qualification: Graduation in any discipline or Equivalent, Ex-serviceman from Indian Army/air Force/Paramilitary Services etc with knowledge of Computers.Desirable: Experience in working in educational institute for conducting NCC or NSS or similar work. Preference will be given to candidates having experience of working in Technical Institutes; Physical Fitness should be perfect.
